Welcome To "The Luggers"

"The Luggers" were formed in October 2013 by (myself) Paul Burnage and Paul Grinter.

Previously I had been a member of "The Bucky Don'ts" Ukulele Group in Bridport for about six months but decided there was room for another band along the coast in Lyme Regis so here we are.

We usually meet up for practice sessions on a Thursday afternoons at the Baptist House Church Hall, Silver Street, Lyme Regis
from 14.00-16.00.Please click here Calendar for more details.

The sessions are relaxed with the emphasis on having a good time and enjoying what we are playing.
The group is of mixed abilities as people have joined at different times but we all play along together and support each other as a group

Since we started our group has grown in confidence and we play at local events in and around the Lyme Regis area.
We do not charge a fee but suggest any donations offered will be given to  local charities, for example our chosen charity for 2016 was"The Hub" which helps young people in the town to get in to music and help pay for the up keep of the building they use.We recently handed over £900 that we collected this year.2016 Other charities we have also supported are "Candles On The Cobb" .  the local "Brownies" troupe and other good causes including "Lifeboat Week"
